  • Quick Lane Bowl vs. Central Michigan (W 21-14)
  • Coached by Jerry Kill through the 7th game against Nebraska at which point he retired due to ongoing medical issues. Tracy Claeys was named interim coach and served in that role for the Michigan and Ohio State games. Claeys was then named the permanent head coach before the Iowa game
